Uncoloured; very minor age-toning to margins, but otherwise very good.
The classic Mercator map of the North Pole, showing a collection of islands forming the polar cap and true north, with another smaller island away from the centre depicting the position of magnetic north. The circles within the decorative strap-work border in three corners contain maps of the Faeroe and Shetland Islands, together with the fictitious island of Frisland, complete with many place names. The fourth circle contains the title.
